Hadoop In Real World is changing to Big Data In Real World

We got an announcement to make.

But first, what we have been up to?

We have big things planned for 2023 and we have been busy working on those. With out giving too much information, we are working on a course and it is related to exploring the Bitcoin blockchain. Don’t want to give away too much now. We will share more information as the course takes shape in the coming weeks.

Now to the BIG news…

We are renaming our website hadoopinrealworld.com to bigdatainrealworld.com!

When we launched our website, hadoopinrealworld.com few years back, we knew the Big Data space would be more than just Hadoop as the space was evolving very fast right before our eyes. We wanted to name our site bigdatainrealworld.com but that domain wasn’t available at that time so we settled with hadoopinrealworld.com. Couple years later, the domain bigdatainrealworld.com became available and so we bought it.

We were split between keeping the name hadoopinrealworld.com and changing the name of the website to bigdatainrealworld.com because hadoopinrealworld.com is known well in our community and in our big data space. After a lot of thought, we believe bigdatainrealworld.com name truly reflect the high quality big data education we offer tailoring to real world big data problems. So we have decided to make the switch and rename our website to bigdatainrealworld.com.

What else is changing?

Nothing else.

Same high quality instructors, same high quality course content, just a new domain name to better represent us in the Big Data space where change is the only constant.

In-fact, as you can see the only difference you would see is the name.

• All emails sent to info@hadoopinrealworld.com will be automatically forwarded to info@bigdatainrealworld.com
